Week 1: ChaLEAN Extreme results

     So this week has been tough with clinicals I am up at 4:30 on Monday and Wednesday. I also have anatomy class from 5:30-9:45 Tuesday and 5:30-6:45 Thursday. But I have been sticking with 21DF diet plan...

     OH, recalculate your calorie needs if you have lost 10+ pounds. I haven't lost anything in the last 2 1/2 weeks and was going CRAZY... Then I recalculated and realized I needed to drop into the lower calorie group... Go figure!

     Now that I have that taken care of, I stuck with doing some 21DF workouts to compliment the CE program.

My starting measurements/today (day 7):

Bust; 39 inches/38.5.                    = -.5
Natural waist: 32/31.5.                 = -.5
Waist @ belly button: 39/38.       = -1
Top of hips: 42/40.5.                    = -1.5
Widest part of hips: 42.5/42.        = -.5
Abductors: 41/40.5.                      = -.5
Right Thigh: 22.75/22.75.              = 0
Left Thigh: 23.25/22.75.              = -.5
Right Arm: 11.5/11.25.                = -.25
Left Arm: 11.25/11.25.                = 0

Total inches lost this week.         = 5.25

Starting Weight: 175 (gained a few lbs back last weekend eating badly)
Ending weight this AM: 172

Pounds lost this week: 3

21 Day Fix -- My Progress

21 Day Fix has been AMAZING so far. I am in week 3 of my SECOND round. I am down 14lbs and 8 inches overall. By far my favorite workout is Dirty 30, it has a little of everything in it and Autumn is a stickler for correctly doing the exercise instead of reps, which is what I need with my two left feet!

Currently I am doing 2 workouts a day, following the "week 3 plan" in the start up guide. I figured since it's my second round I need to push myself. Plus, I want to hit the 160's this round. Here are some pictures of my progress so far.


I cannot believe the difference in my strength and endurance! Although I think a majority of the visual difference is the nutritional aspect of 21 Day Fix. This is what I think most workout programs are missing, even from Beachbody. I love all their products I have, but 21DF brings in a sense of "I can do this" into the kitchen, vs, just reading a book with, "eat this, not this... here is a menu plan" -- I cannot stand 1/2 the ingredients in most menu plans, like Tipalia or mustard, GROSS! Not even being guaranteed to look amazing after eating those, would I do it, I just cannot eat them!!!!

I am going to take a break from the 21 Day Fix schedule to see how ChaLEAN Extreme is. I started it Monday and am continuing 21 DF as well this week... I will still integrate the nutritional plan and some of the workouts (since I LOVE THEM) into CE, but I am really really looking forward to the next 90 days!!!!!

WELCOME!!!

Come One, Come All....

I cannot begin to describe to you the nerves, excitement and eagerness I am feeling right now. Operation: Fit Star was started in part because of my love for helping those that I love and in part to help me strive to reach my goals and drive myself to a place that I don't even think is possible right now. I know that as my team grows and as you all become special to me in individual ways, YOU GUYS, my team, will teach me so much more than I can ever offer to you. But what I can promise you is that:

~ I WILL make time for you, yes, YOU; whatever you need, I am HERE!
~I WILL push you. Because if I do not push you like Jennifer (my coach) pushes me, you will never realize your full potential.
~I WILL laugh with you, I can't do Cross Country Skiers like Autumn can, either!
~I WILL cry with you... because missing workouts sucks AND reaching goals is AMAZING!
~I WILL celebrate with you... WINE AND CHOCOLATE or NEW SHOES!!!!! It is important to give yourself the freedom to enjoy the finer things in life... we only have one life, you cannot eat clean the WHOLE time! Just do it in moderation
~I WILL help you set goals. I am still working on my #1 GOAL... I always will be!
~I WILL ask you ALL the time how YOU are doing, how YOU are feeling... Being your coach is about YOU not ME!!!!

I have no idea what this journey will bring... but I know it will be GREAT! Because I believe in my team and I have an awesome coach who believes in ME!

DREAM HUGE! AIM FOR THE STARS AND SHOOT HIGHER!
